Stranger Things "Kids" by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein

This song is most definitely a song that makes you feel a sense of nostalgia. Especially for people who grew up during the eighties. This song is a heavy synthesizer oriented type of song. This song debuts in the Stranger Things show in the very first episode and is also featured in every single season of Stranger Things so far. This song is so well known because this song is playing when we meet the main characters of Stranger Things for the very first time. The time stamp when this song plays is Episode 1 Season 1 at 02:49. This song plays during a game of Dungeons and Dragons that our main characters are playing and gives a sense of childhood innocence while heard. This sense immediately puts a smile on your face as you see the characters interacting with each other and fills you with nostalgia all at the same time. This song truly makes you feel like you are back in your childhood and are hanging out with your buddies. This song's title is also reminiscent of the characters themselves because the characters are kids. The song title truly captures that childhood come up as well as the nostalgia of the eighties with its heavy synth and calm and happy go lucky feel. Like I stated before this is not the only time this song is used in the show. It is mostly featured when the characters are all around one another and are just being kids, making fun of each other, playing games, and other horseplay. You cannot go wrong with this song especially if you want to listen alone and reflect upon your own childhood.
